Now you can unlock your smartphone by your eyes | Iris recognition technology developed by Japan

You may have seen some scenes in Hollywood movies in which secret passwords are unlocked by just keeping the eyes in front of a sensor for few seconds. This technology has been developed for smartphones authentication system.

Currently, you can unlock your smartphone by passwords or patterns but now Japan's Fujitsu developed Iris recognition technology for smartphones, which is going to be commercialized very soon.

Fujitsu's new authentication method uses infrared light to scan the eye. This technology can be applied in wide range of security systems.
